This policy explains what information we collect on this website and in our software, and how we handle it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
This website
No accounts, no forms, no tracking. This site does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, and it does not ask you to sign up for anything.
Hosting logs. The site is served by Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability. We do not combine those logs with any other information.
Fonts. Typefaces load from Google Fonts, which receives your browser's request for the font files. No other third-party content loads on this site.
Email. If you email us, we keep the message so we can reply. We do not add you to any list.
Our software, used by facilities
Our product is used inside skilled nursing facilities by their staff. It holds information the facility puts into it: resident names, rooms and beds, staff assignments, and nurse-call (call bell) activity. That information is protected health information under HIPAA, and we treat it that way:
The facility owns its data. We hold it only to provide the service. It is returned or deleted at the facility's request.
Business Associate Agreement. We enter into a Business Associate Agreement with each facility before any resident information is placed in our systems.
Where it lives. Facility data is hosted on Microsoft Azure in the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest, with backups retained by the hosting service. Microsoft is our only subcontractor that touches facility data, under Microsoft's own Business Associate terms.
Who can see it. Each user has an individual login with a role that limits what they can view and change. Views of resident information and every change are recorded in an audit log that the facility can review.
We do not sell data, use it for advertising, or use it to train models. We do not share it with anyone except as the facility directs or the law requires.
Security incidents. If an incident affects a facility's data, we notify that facility as required by our Business Associate Agreement and by law.
Questions from residents or families about their own information should go to the facility, which is the covered entity and decides how its records are handled.
Children
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
